Woo-hoo! I finished the PCB layout for the RADAR!

Finished PCB Layout in Altium software

After many hours over the course of several weeks, my board is ready to send to fabrication! The feeling of satisfaction that comes with a complete board makes all the frustration of laying traces worth it. Putting this board together was like working on a massive puzzle and it was an engaging process.

While my university campus is closed to help slow the spread of COVID-19, I will be working on the firmware for the FPGA using the hardware description language VHDL for the design and Verilog for the testbenches. Looking forward to this next step!

Do you have a satisfying milestone to share about your project?

I used Altium to layout the PCB from the schematic for R.A.D.A.R.
